High Angle Marksmanship - April 26, 2025

Requirements: Long Range Level 1 or equivalent experience
Whether you’re a competition shooter or avid hunter, understanding the fundamentals of angled shooting and shooting from a tripod are of critical importance. High Angle Marksmanship is one of our most fast-paced and exciting classes. Students will engage a variety of targets at different distances and angles by using a tripod to stabilize their rifle. Students will learn how to calculate for angled shots and how to read wind in mountainous terrain.
This class includes a ~30-minute hike to acquire an elevated firing position in the Sangre de Christo mountain range. Tripods will be provided.
Equipment:
Precisions Rifle
Optic with exposed turrets
80 rounds of match grade ammunition
Hearing protection
Bore snake
Scope bubble level (30 and 34mm available for purchase)
Backpack (Thin Air Precision has several Eberlestock packs with scabbards available for use)
